STIHL Picco Super 3 (PS3) 3/8" P Chainsaw Chain, 1.3 mm, 40 cm

Your saw struggles with smooth, fast cuts in pruning or limbing? This STIHL Picco Super 3 (PS3) chain delivers high cutting performance with a low-profile, full-chisel design that bites quickly yet runs with notably low vibration and reduced kickback.

Built for precise work in tree care, it starts cutting cleanly right away and leaves a neat finish on the wood. If you want maximum efficiency from a 3/8" P setup, this chain is a smart upgrade.

Made for clean, controlled work

• Tree care and pruning where low feed force matters
• Limbing and bucking small to medium branches
• Clean cuts that reduce tear-out on fresh wood
• Users wanting quick bite with calmer, smoother running

Why this chain stands out

• Full-chisel cutters: sharp, fast cutting action
• Low-profile design: reduced kickback tendency
• Low vibration: smoother handling and comfort
• Clean cut finish: high cut quality on the wood

Real-world handling

On the saw it tracks smoothly, builds speed fast, and needs less feed force, so you guide the cut instead of wrestling it. You’ll notice a calmer feel in the cut with less chatter, especially useful overhead or on awkward limbs.

Advice from gardenmachineshop.com

Match all three: pitch (3/8" P), gauge (1.3 mm), and bar length — a mismatch will hurt performance and can be unsafe.
