STIHL Mulching Kit AMK 043, 41 cm

Want a greener, lower‑maintenance lawn without hauling away clippings? The STIHL AMK 043 lets you switch your STIHL 41 cm mower to true mulching: it finely shreds grass and returns it to the turf as a natural, nutrient‑rich fertilizer.

This retrofit kit drops in quickly and is made for owners who want a tidy finish and healthier grass with less effort and no collection bag.

Where it shines

• Regular lawn care where you’d rather mulch than collect
• Boosting lawn health by feeding it with fine clippings
• Weekly mowing for a neat, even finish on 41 cm decks

Why it helps

• Switches your mower to efficient mulching mode
• Fine particles settle and feed the soil naturally
• No green waste handling after mowing
• Smooth, uniform cut with the multi‑blade

In daily use

Installation is straightforward: fit the multi‑blade and insert the mulch plug. Mow more frequently with smaller cuts for the best finish—your lawn will look cleaner and you won’t miss the grass box.

Capacity and specs

• For 41 cm cutting width mower models
• Kit contents: multi‑blade and mulching insert
• Not compatible with second‑generation cordless lawn mowers; use Mulch‑Kit 443 instead

Advice from gardenmachineshop.com

Mulch when the grass is dry and remove no more than one third of the blade height each pass for the cleanest result.
