STIHL Marking Chalk PRO, green

Need clear, lasting marks on timber in any weather? STIHL Marking Chalk PRO gives you bold, high-contrast lines on both dry and wet wood, so measurements, sort codes or cut lines stay visible throughout the job.

Thanks to strong pigmentation and a robust composition, the sticks write smoothly, hold up well in the field and stay readable despite sun and rain.

Where it excels

• Marking felling and bucking lengths on wet logs
• Sorting and grading timber stacks in the yard
• Site layout marks that must survive rain and handling
• Quick color-coded notes during forestry work

Why it helps

• Weather and light resistant: marks remain readable outdoors
• Durable stick: less prone to breaking in use

Advice from gardenmachineshop.com

For fast identification in the yard, keep different colors on hand and use one color per task (e.g., green for keep, red for cut) so crews know at a glance.
