STIHL FS ADVANCE X-Flex Set (Hip Belt M + Harness L)

If long trimming or clearing sessions leave your shoulders and back tired, this set gives you the support you’re missing. The STIHL FS ADVANCE X-Flex Set combines a size M hip belt with a size L shoulder harness to spread the load of your STIHL grass trimmer or brushcutter comfortably and securely.

Built around STIHL’s modular ADVANCE X-Flex system, it lets you tailor the fit and add pouches or holders so your essentials are always within reach.

Where it shines

• Daily professional trimming and brushcutting
• Long shifts in landscaping and forestry maintenance
• Operators wanting better balance and reduced fatigue
• Teams standardising on a modular, expandable carry system

Why you’ll notice the difference

• Soft side padding helps balance the machine weight
• Elastic back support moves with you while working
• Height-adjustable chest buckle fine-tunes the fit
• Bright orange with reflective details for visibility

Real-world handling

The hip belt is the central hub: adjust it quickly to your body, clip on the FS harness via the built-in rings, and add pouches with STIHL’s sturdy clip system. Hook your trimmer or brushcutter to the standard hook and you’re set—weight is better distributed, posture improves, and tool control feels more precise over time.

Advice from gardenmachineshop.com

Adjust the hip belt first for snug support at your hips, then fine-tune the harness height—this sequence makes the machine feel lighter and improves balance from the start.
