STIHL File Set for 3/8" Chain in Pouch

If your chainsaw starts pulling to one side or throwing dust instead of chips, your chain is dull. This STIHL file set lets you sharpen 3/8" chains quickly and accurately, right where you work, so cutting is smooth and safe again.

The set brings the essentials together in a tough pouch: a file holder with round file for cutters, a flat file for depth gauges, and a filing gauge to keep angles and rakers in check.

Made for real-world jobs

Perfect for on-site touch-ups after hitting soil or a hidden nail, for routine maintenance between refuels, or for keeping a firewood saw cutting fast without a trip to the workshop.

Advice from gardenmachineshop.com

Lightly mark your first tooth with a pen before filing—this helps you keep track and sharpen each cutter the same number of strokes for an even, sharp chain.
